Fitness has always been a part of my life, but it wasn't until I discovered the magic of group fitness classes that I truly began to thrive. Despite a lifelong passion for staying active, I struggled with motivation and pushing my limits while working out solo. That all changed when I immersed myself in Les Mills programs and found my calling as a group fitness instructor.
After relocating from Washington to San Francisco, I faced the challenge of finding a new gym routine. That's when I met Alex. Initially intimidated by CrossFit and Olympic lifting, Alex's approachable coaching style helped me overcome my fears and fall in love with these disciplines. This journey led me to partner with Julia, and together, we pushed our boundaries by competing in our first CrossFit competition.
My own fitness journey has been a rollercoaster. I've navigated thyroid problems, hormonal imbalances and weight loss challenges, which have taught me firsthand how frustrating it can be to get fit and feel good. This experience fuels my passion for breaking down the intimidation factor associated with heavy lifting and learning new skills. I understand the struggles and am committed to meeting everyone where they are, helping them build strength and confidence.
My goal is to create a welcoming community of strong friends where everyone can achieve their fitness goals and celebrate their progress.
